Junpei Iori – Persona 3
Every Persona game after the third has a character who becomes best friends with the main character. This friend is also a kook who ends up being the punchline of many jokes during the game.
In Persona 3, Junpei plays this part, and players have loved him since the first time they met him. Even though Yukari calling Junpei “Stupei” was a pretty mild joke, it’s still funny to this day.
Yosuke Hanamura – Persona 4
A lot of people think that Persona 4 has the best-written and strongest cast of all the Persona games. Every character in the series, including the beloved Yosuke Hanamura, stands out in their own way.
Yosuke is one of the characters that players can relate to the most, especially if they watch his Social Link all the way to the end. He starts a fight with the main character before admitting that he was once jealous of Narukami. He then came to his senses and changed his Persona.
Ryuji Sakamoto – Persona 5
Persona 5 takes a while to get going. Joker and Ryuji end up at Kamoshida’s Palace after a series of bad things happen to them. After being cornered by Kamoshida, he wakes up Captain Kidd and causes a lot of trouble.
Ryuji is a fun person to spend time with, especially because he is funny and says what he thinks. When he maxes out his Confidant, he solves his problems with the track team and gets over his feelings of guilt.
Rise Kujikawa – Persona 4
Rise Kujikawa is a character who likes to play and flirt, and sometimes she stays too close to the main character. Since Rise is an idol, many people would think she is proud and looks down on other people.
But that’s not true at all. Rise feels guilty about how she looks, but she hides her true feelings behind her happy-go-lucky personality. It’s great how deep her personality is. Being charming and funny is just one part of her.
Tadashi Satomi – Multiple Persona Games
Tadashi Satomi is a side character who has been in both the first and second Persona games. Not many people have heard of him. He is named after one of the people who worked on the Persona games, and he is a pretty clumsy character.
When Tadashi tries to do something great, he almost always drops the bag and fails to reach his goal. Fans were sad that this character wasn’t in Persona 2: Eternal Punishment because of this trait. It makes every event he’s in pretty funny.
Teddie – Persona 4
In Persona 4, Teddie is a pretty unique character, and for a long time, not much was known about where he came from. He is one of the few characters whose Social Link grows by itself as the series goes on.
He’s also a big source of humor. Whenever he’s in a cut scene, he always says something funny or does something silly. Teddie might not be for everyone, but those who like his personality and what he brings to the table love him.
Yusuke Kitagawa – Persona 5
Yusuke in Persona 5 had no right to be as funny as he is. But the fact that he is awkward around other people makes for some of the funniest parts of the whole series.
Yusuke has a lot of great moments in the whole series, like when he tried to paint a naked picture of Ann or when he turned into a mouse and started making jokes about mice. He might be a deep character, but it’s clear that the people who wrote his jokes in the show were having way too much fun.
Yukiko Amagi – Persona 4
Most people would think that Yukiko doesn’t seem like she has a great sense of humor at first glance. But players who spend a lot of time with her character know that she can be, to put it mildly, a little strange.
It helps that her facial expressions get all screwed up out of the blue, which makes it even funnier. Even though Yukiko’s sudden change might make some people find her creepy, most Persona 4 fans find her to be very sweet.
Eikichi Mishina – Persona 2
It’s too bad that more people haven’t played the games that came before Persona 3, because they’re also pretty fun. Many people think that the second Penalty Kick Online game is a classic that doesn’t get enough credit, and it has some great characters as well.
This character is pretty self-centered, and he always tries to be the center of attention. Even though the reason for this bad trait is revealed later, he is one of the funniest characters in Persona 2: Innocent Sin because of the way he talks to Lisa and some of the funny things he says.
Kinshiro Morooka – Persona 4
Obviously, a character named King Moron has to be on this list. Kinshiro Morooka looks disgusting, and he makes fun of the students at Yasogami High School by being as mean as possible all the time.
One of the best things about Persona 4 is how funny his character is and how people talk about him. Most people who made fun of his character stopped laughing after he was killed suddenly by Inaba’s famous serial killer.
