10 Hardest Expertise Challenges In League of Legends

These League of Legends challenges will put your skills, patience, and knowledge of the game to the test in a big way.

Since League of Legends gave players more ways to personalize their accounts, expertise challenges have become some of the hardest to complete. Under the “Expertise” tab, ranked challenges ask players to show how well they know how to play League of Legends game by doing things like getting multiple kills or making it through a game without dying.

Some League of Legends challenges only need to be done once, but others require you to meet the requirements multiple times across many different games in order to level up the challenge and fully master the given task. If you want to show how good you are at League of Legends, here are ten of the most difficult expertise challenges.

No Quarter

No Quarter

The No Quarter challenge is very easy to complete because all you have to do is kill enemies when they are close to their own towers. Tower diving is a very common way to attack in League of Legends, and it’s most likely to work when more than one member of a team commits to it.

If you want your chances of completing this challenge to be the best, attack the enemy under their tower with a tank unit. The tank will take the shots from the turret while the damage dealers on your team kill the rest of the enemies. It is also important to remember that this challenge requires kills, not takedowns, so you must be the player who gets the kill in order to move on in the mission.

One Stone

One Stone

The One Stone challenge was made for people who like to kill their opponents with skill shots from far away. To level up the task, you must kill two players who are using the same ability.

Playing long-range mage champions like Lux or Xerath will help you finish this challenge faster when trying to get points in this category. Also, you can kill two champions with one ability cast more than once in the same game, which makes this challenge a lot of fun to level up if you are good at making skill shots.

Flame Horizon

Flame Horizon

If you know how to make minions hit last and understand how lanes work, the Flame Horizon challenge is perfect for you. This expertise challenge wants you to win games where your creep score (CS) is higher than your lane opponent’s CS by more than 100.

If you want to finish this challenge quickly, choose champions like Anivia, Malzahar, Irelia, or Yasuo who can farm minions well. You also need to make sure that your team wins after you’re done farming for CS if you want to finish this challenge. Even though the laning phase is important, don’t forget that you can keep farming minions until the end of the game, so always play safe and don’t give up your lead.

It’s My Jungle Now

It's My Jungle Now

If you’re drawn to the Jungle, the It’s My Jungle Now challenge is right up your alley. This means that you have to take more of your opponent’s jungle camps than they have by the time the ten-minute mark comes around.

This challenge can be hard to finish because you have to keep going into enemy territory to steal jungle camps, which puts you in a lot of danger. If you want to make this challenge easier, choose champions like Fiddlesticks, Kayn, or other junglers with fast early clears, and play with friends who can help you when you invade the enemy jungle.

Blink And You'll Miss It

As part of the League’s durability update, all of the game’s champions now have more health, armor, and magic resistance. This is to stop characters from getting one-shot. This makes it harder to complete the Blink and You’ll Miss It challenge, which requires you to kill a champion in less than 1.5 seconds with over 90% of the damage coming from you.

Assassin champions like Zed, Talon, or Qiyana will make it easier to burst targets quickly when trying to complete this challenge, since their kits are all designed to kill enemies quickly. Also, since tank units are so common in League, you might not have a chance to try this challenge every game. During champion select, if the enemy team picks weak units, you may have the chance to play your favorite assassin and finish the challenge.

Death Incarnate

Death Incarnate

The Death Incarnate challenge is a classic skill test: you have to get twelve or more takedowns in the first fifteen minutes of League of Legends game. But since most of the first minute of a League of Legends game is spent waiting for minions to spawn, the time you have to finish this task is shorter than it seems.

In League of Legends, it’s important to remember that takedowns are not the same as kills. Takedowns are a score that adds up all of your kills and any kills you helped someone else get during a match. This makes the challenge a little less stressful because you don’t have to go out of your way to get all 12 kills on your own. So, if you get twelve or more takedowns in about fourteen minutes, you must be playing very well. Choose the champion you feel most comfortable with and pay close attention to how much time is left.

Unkillable Demon King

Unkillable Demon King

If you are great at staying alive during the landing phase and intense team fights, the Unkillable Demon King challenge is a great way to show that you can’t be killed. To finish this task, you have to win games without getting killed by enemy champions.

If you are actively trying to finish this challenge, using tank champions like Tahm Kench or Cho’gath will help you stay alive because these units are made to take a lot of damage. This challenge is not impossible, especially if you focus on winning the match instead of getting as many kills as possible.

Immortal

Immortal

Immortal is a challenge like Unkillable Demon King in that you have to win games without dying. But this challenge is harder because you also have to get at least eight kills without dying to the other team.

When trying to complete this expertise challenge, play champions that scale well and can carry games, like Irelia or Nasus, who have high survivability and consistent damage. Also, if you try this challenge with a group of friends, your chances are much better because these players will go out of their way to protect you.

Same Penta, Different Champ

Same Penta, Different Champ

In League of Legends, nothing is more satisfying than killing all five members of the other team, which is called a “pentakill.” For the Same Penta, Different Champ challenge, you have to get pentakills while playing different champions. This means that you can only finish this task by playing multiple games.

This is a great challenge because it lets you show off your technical skills with multiple champions and your team-fighting skills. Pentakills usually happen later in Slope Game, when all ten champions are fighting for objectives, so don’t give up if you can’t get kills early.

Decimator

Decimator

For the Decimator challenge, you also need to get two pentakills in the same game, but this time they must be from different games. Unlike the last challenge, you don’t have to switch up your champion pool. For this mission, you should use the character you feel most comfortable with.

Even though every champion in the game has the potential to get a pentakill, some are better at cleaning up team fights and getting a lot of kills. Champions like Samira and Katarina have big ultimates that hurt a lot of people at once. Pyke’s ultimate kills enemies with low health and is perfect for getting pentakills.
